Our Home
Maison des Remparts, is
located on the old fortified village wall that once encircled Caunes-Minervois.
This 150-year-old village house has been tastefully renovated and filled with
antiques.
The house was renovated
by French artisans using local materials, with antique tiles, doors, and
fixtures throughout, but with modern central heating and plumbing. Antiques
decorate every room, and there are exposed wooden beams in the ceilings.
Beds have duvets and French linens.
The well equipped gourmet kitchen has an antique vigneron (winemaker) table lots
of work space and leads outside to the kitchen terrace with a dipping
pool or to the
adjacent dining room.
